3 boxes out in the egg shed…. Plus another one that I added after this photo… as I went out collecting and got another box filled 🙌🏻 ❤️

So there’s now 4 boxes.

I love getting the boxes back… but despite how many have gone out. I don’t get a great deal back. To those who have brought back boxes I thank you… and appreciate your effort.

I’ve had to buy another big order of boxes… which chips away at the money that is coming in to go back to our hens. Please if you can bring back the boxes when you buy and come back to replenish it would be greatly appreciated.

Please note that I cannot accept any shop bought boxes because they are usually branded or have stickers all over them. So I just end up doing your recycling for you… so please no boxes from any where else.

And if the box is damaged… so it doesn’t close as it should, or it is torn… please just recycle as I cannot use them. And again I end up doing the recycling myself.

Keeping the girls cool in this hot weather with some chilled watermelon, honeydew melon and some frozen corn that in this heat will be welcomed and defrosted within minutes ❤️

Apologies to anyone who has visited our egg shed and walked away empty handed…
Unfortunately, it’s been a tough week.
There will be eggs out in the shed today. Will update when they’re ready 🙌🏻

So… a neighbour has apparently reported me and my chickens for…. What? I don’t know. Apparently my garden is disgusting…
Erm no it’s not a show home. My chickens live and thrive here….. we are over grown in places for their shelter in the hot weather.
A very well versed vet commented on a sick chicken of mine, Goldie… she’s the big golden hen that you can see in my post… he said that ‘she is well muscled’ and ‘she is well cared for’. She has made a full recovery. She just had an infection that was treated with antibiotics… which I obviously paid for.
Another of my girls had a pr*****ed vent and inside care and attention brought her back to a full recovery.
I care for my chickens and they’re my little gaggle of beautiful girls. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
But to be accused of mal treatment and any question of their treatment here at our Fluffy Butt Hutt… is completely vile and unwarranted. I hope I have the support of the people who
Enjoy our eggs to keep helping our girls.
