Lok and Jen Cheung, the couple behind Tenby’s successful Umi Japanese Restaurant, Lokky’s in Saundersfoot and Pentlepoir’s award-winning Dragon Palace Restaurant have purchased the old Dragon and Pearl restaurant in Haverfordwest.

Since announcing our purchase of the old Dragon & Pearl restaurant here in Haverfordwest we have had a lot of people coming over to congratulate us and find out more about what our plans are for the future…

It was brilliant to have Thomas Baden Tudor come down and have a tour of what used to be the go to Chinese restaurant here in town and help us get some insight on the community.

So, as we have said in this video we’re aiming more towards the Japanese/Thai theme for our restaurant and maybe even some Chinese additions… what do you think?

2027 is looking to be a great year and we can’t wait to start stripping this restaurant and making it our own!

So the news is officially out… WE’VE BOUGHT A RESTAURANT!!

But did you know we have three restaurants, one cafe and a hotel already in Pembrokeshire?

We started off with Dragon Palace Pembrokeshire after I (Lok) took over from my father, then Jen and myself bought Lokky's & The Imperial Dragon Hotel and completely transformed it to what it is now… we were then asked to take over Umi Tenby and then later down the line No 25 Cafe Tenby too!!!

But this time we’re branching out a little, they say if you don’t try you will never know.

So we’re giving it a go!

We have A LOT of work to do and we can’t wait to get started!!
