🐏 Our Pedigree Valais Blacknose ram is going to the Dolphin Ram Sale at Hailsham Livestock Market this Saturday 🐏 lot number 256

Lightfoot Kayak is fully registered, perfectly marked ram with a fantastic temperament, he would be a great addition to any flock, for either purebred Valais or for crossing with other breeds.

We are very lucky to have 6 Baudet du Poitou donkeys on the farm, we managed to get a rare picture of them all together and looking at the camera (sort of!) from left to right; Hermione, Hagrid, Dulcie, Lilou, Fleur & Norman.

Two weeks ago Team Lightfoot descended on the Kent Show. We started off the weekend with Bob winning the traditional gypsy cob class at his first county show. The sheep were equally as successful. We came home with lots of rosettes, highlight being Don’t Mess With Me winning the coloured ryeland ram lamb class, then going onto become reserve breed champion only to be beaten by a shearling ewe that we bred and sold earlier this year. Mean champion and reserve champion were both Lightfoot animals 🐑🐴🥇
