Meet our rescue, Echo, she was feeling a little poorly, she came in for some TLC and treatment indoors and is now right as rain ❤️. 🐔 Bird Flu Update 🐔. At present, the UK has temporary bird-flu prevention measures in place to protect poultry and help prevent the spread of avian influenza.As part of these DEFRA-led measures, chickens must be kept separate from wild birds. For this reason, our hens are not currently roaming, but are safely cared for in a fully covered, secure run that meets all biosecurity requirements.Their welfare remains our top priority. They have plenty of space, fresh food, clean water, enrichment, and daily care — and this temporary change does not affect the quality or safety of our eggs.We will continue to follow all guidance and will update you once restrictions are lifted.Thank you for supporting small, responsible, high-welfare egg producers
