Farm up date!

Been busy on the farm recently collecting Hay and all different kinds of bedding for the winter (two examples are Pea Straw & Barley Straw). Putting in water pipes to an existing shed in the yard.

We are keeping a close eye on the cattle at the moment due to the lack of grass! We have had to start feeding some groups winter feed already. Which is a bit worrying. But other than that all is going well. The boys have been enjoying there time with the girls 😉. Beef production 2028-2029 is underway!!

BBQ weather today! ☀️

We have plenty to pick from. One our personal favourite for a BBQ is flat Iron steak. If you haven’t tried it you need too! Lots of burgers, sausages & kebabs too. 😎

Supporting a new business! Kim popped into to us with samples of her new meat rubs, we had to do a taste test of course! They are very yummy and full of flavour. The pots will half a kilo of meat each. Introductory offer £2 each this weekend. 😁😋

Suffolk Show 2026

We are very happy with the out come! Levi kept his title of Breed Champion. Nova-Star received best udder cup. Maggie received Female Champion. Couldn’t be more prouder of our show team!

Calving update!

Milla has finally had her baby this morning outside on the meadow next to the farm.😁 It’s a little heifer 🎀 Mumma is doing brilliantly and baby is super cute. 🥰

Only 2 more to go and calving season is done!

We have put them on the meadow as the weather has been so nice but it’s close enough we can all keep an eye on them just in case!

We are getting ready for the Suffolk show next month. Followed by the Norfolk show.

Nova-Star, Maggie and their babies have started to be walked. Nova and Maggie are already halter trained it’s just their babies that need to get used to following mumma and the feel of the halter.

We have picked out our junior bull called Paint The Town Red. He has started his training. He is learning quickly and we are very happy with his progress.

Of course Levi will be out at the shows too he’s too handsome not to bring!
