This week we’re drying mint, lemon balm, and rose petals.

From now until the end of the season, we’ll be drying something every week to use in teas, cooking, and skincare.

Drying is one of the oldest and simplest methods of preserving food and plants, helping us enjoy the harvest long after the growing season has ended.

Did you know we run a preservation course each autumn? We explore a range of preservation techniques, including drying, fermenting, pickling, bottling, and more. It’s always a popular workshop, and places are limited, so be sure to book early if you’d like to join us.

This spring, Trigon Farm celebrates 6 years.

In spring 2020, we began with a blank canvas — 7 acres of pasture, a family of 3 and a dream of creating something deeply connected to the land.

Six years on, the farm has transformed season by season. Thousands of trees, shrubs, flowers, and food crops have been planted, biodiversity has flourished, and the landscape continues to evolve with every passing year.

We’ve learned to live more closely with the rhythms of nature, while welcoming hundreds of people to experience the journey alongside us. From PYO flower picking to workshops, courses, and seasonal gatherings focused on growing food, preserving harvests, and sustainable living — Trigon Farm has become a space for learning, connection, and community.

As we continue planting and caring for the land, we’re reminded that we are simply its stewards — fortunate to live, work, and grow alongside it.

Thank you to everyone who has visited, supported, learned with us, and been part of the journey so far. Here’s to many more seasons ahead.

Shakshuka in May.

A hungry gap lunch made with eggs, onions, herbs and fresh salad from the farm, with tomato sauce preserved from last autumn’s harvest.

Our meals are shaped by what the garden is offering at this moment in the season.

Join us for a special Summer Solstice Feast on 20 June to celebrate the longest days and the arrival of summer. The menu is still to come, but as always, it will be inspired by whatever is at its best in the garden then and it will accommodate any dietary requirements.

British flower season is here 🌸🇬🇧

What makes our flowers special?

🌼 Grown right here by us
🌼 Zero flower miles
🌼 No pesticides or nasty chemicals

You might say, “We don’t eat flowers…” — but you bring them into your homes, place them on the tables, and breathe in their scent every day.

All our stems are grown with love, care and respect for nature and the growing seasons.

People often think sustainable means expensive — we believe locally grown flowers can be both beautiful and affordable. In fact, we’ve kept our prices the same for years.

This season we offer:
🌸 Jam jars posies — £10
💐 Bouquets — from £15
🌼 PYO (Pick Your Own) — small bucket £20 | regular bucket £35
DIY flower bucket — £45

And just like that, our mange tout peas sown last autumn have come to an end.
They kept us well supplied for months — with plenty to enjoy ourselves and share through our veggie boxes. Now it’s time for the cucumbers to take over and make the most of the space.

Our animals really enjoyed the plants too! What’s left is heading onto the compost heap and back into the soil — no waste, just a continuing cycle.

We’ve got more mange tout sown outside this spring and should be picking again in just a few weeks.

Mange tout really is an amazing veggie — sweet, crisp and eaten whole, pod and all. It’s full of goodness, quick to grow and keeps producing over a long season, making it such a rewarding crop in the garden.

There’s a quiet charm to sweet peas that never goes out of style. Grown and cherished for generations for their beautiful scent, they remain one of summer’s most loved flowers.

Come and see the display, breathe in their wonderful fragrance, and take a bunch home to enjoy. Their perfume is unlike anything else — soft, sweet and wonderfully nostalgic.

This week’s special offer: 15 stems for just £5.

Open all day Tuesday
Other days by appointment
