Simply Homecooked

So it’s that time of year when the children go back to school and bring home all the lovely germs for us to share. 🦠😷
We have all been down with the back to school lurgie this week and have been confined to bed for much needed rest and recuperation.
Unfortunately this means that we have not been able to plan, shop or cook for this weeks Rhosneigr market. 😢😢. We will not be attending this Saturday but we will be back fighting fit for the next one in the second week in October.
Take care everyone and we will see you soon

So we have had our first weekend off since the beginning of July. Thank you to all our customers who have made this summer so special for us here.
I’ve been spending the day decorating one of our special spaces for my favourite season.
Oh and also what do we do at simply homecooked on our day off??? Cook of course 😂😂. I’ve made a very autumnal corn chowder and a pan of fresh homemade dog food for my four legged friends 🐾 🐾
Happy autumn everyone

I do love a veg box delivery. Last weeks box was amazing and you lot benefited from the spinach and aubergine in the curries and the rainbow carrots and onions in the meat and potato dishes.
Today I had a winter squash, sweet potatoes and some coriander left so we are having Thai squash soup today in our house.
Tomorrow I’m roasting the purple beets with chicken.
I’ve never had this prince squash variety before but that’s what is amazing with vegetable deliveries, it makes you use your imagination and try new things xx
Happy soup season 🥣🎃🍁🌰🥖🍞
