After a long winter, the apple trees are starting to blossom 🌸

We planted 6 new native apple trees in the orchard this winter, they won’t produce a crop for another couple years, but the future is looking good! Hopefully one day we will be able to sustain our own production without relying on apple donations 🍎

And that’s it for pressing the 2025 apples!! The final gallon, number 17, has started bubbling! All 2025 pressed cider will be sold at this years Trelawnyd Apple Festival 🍎🍏

Once I get this lot pressed I’ll have my 16th gallon, double last years yield, and at least 120 bottles to sell next year!

Batch 11! I’ve officially broken my own record with 11 gallons in one season, and still plenty of apples left to press! 💪 Thank you everyone for your support 🍏🍎🍏🍎

Gallons 9 and 10 are now pressed (with a little help from my friends)! This means I’m now on par with my previous records of 10 gallons in 2023, so now I just need to beat it! Lucky I still have plenty apples stored 💪🍏🍎

🍏🍎 Apple Festival 2025 🍎🍏

What a day!! Thank you to everyone who came and supported, thank you to all the amazing stallholders, thank you to everyone who helped me set up, and thank you to Bridget and Trelawnyd school for hosting this year!

We tried to stagger the sales as much as we could but we sold out of cider before 1pm! Hopefully you all love it, and we’ll see you again next year, for now the pressing continues!
