Our award-winning Puddings are made in small batches using our traditional family recipe passed down the generations from our Great Grandmother. Therefore we use flour milled locally at Stotfold Water Mill, breadcrumbs from freshly homemade bread, eggs from local free-range farms. The ingredients are mixed by hand and steamed for 10 hours. From a very early age, I remember helping to make Christmas Puddings with my mother in the kitchen. It was always called Nanna’s Christmas Pudding because we believed it was her recipe. However we have now found out it was her mother’s recipe. (My Great Grandmother!)
Safety is our priority, we are fully registered and inspected by our local authority and ensure that the latest practices in food hygiene and safety standards are adhered to. We started making the puddings as Christmas gifts. (For those people you just don’t know what to get!) We were very humbled when people started asking if they could buy our puddings. Since those early days we have worked very hard. Increasing the quantity of puddings we are making and the events we are attending.
