Came recommended - glad it was.

Big Man: Probably the best muffin I’ve ever had, white chocolate and raspberry. It reminded me of my Grandmother’s baking when I was wee, that’s serious complements to those who know. Coffee lovely too - 10/10.

Wee Man: ‘the hot chocolate was lovely Daddy I give that 8 out of 10, the chocolate doughnut was delicious too I give that 9 out of 10. Overall I’m giving this place 10/10 because the pictures were so cool to look at in that place too and I want to go again.’

Big Man: Had a chicken fillets supper and a wee battered Smokey chaser. Everything very well cooked, chicken fillets were a bit wee but overall solid. 7/10

Wee Man: ‘Kids chicken nuggets with chips, plus some macaroni cheese bites. Chips are a 10/10 Daddy, chicken nuggets are an 8/10 and the macaroni bites are a 9/10. Also had two of Dad’s chicken fillets, 8/10. Couldn’t resist them they were BANGIN.’

‘Overall I’m giving it a 10/10 - love the Grantown Chippy!’

I pinched a couple of the wee man’s macaroni bites, Bonnie tasty aye. Like to think of myself as a chippy connoisseur - this one is solid.

Big Man : I had roast beef dinner (special for £19). Roast beef, potatoes, carrots, parsnips, yorkie and jus. Advertised as tender beef, but not quite, plus potatoes pretty hard in the middle. Rest of plate nice, but just not what expecting for £19. - 5/10

Must add that the service was great and staff lovely, just the food itself let it down for me.

Wee Man : Chicken Goujons and chips, with peas (£7.50). ‘No point in reviewing the peas daddy because I wasn’t gonna eat them. The chips were great but the chicken was stringy and hard to eat.’

‘The brownie (£5.50 (bad picture I know, forgot to take until half through)) was amazing Daddy and so was the ice cream - 7/10 for my meal.’
