So I have been looking through my bookings for 2021 and, just for fun, looking at some stats. Now, these are not Ipsos MORI Statistics by any stretch of the imagination; they are quite simply me going through all my drafts checking which venue I was at and which symbolic gestures were included in the ceremony.
So to begin, which wedding venue did I visit the most during 2021? Answer Bogbain Farm that was followed by various outdoor wedding ceremony locations.
And you'll all be curious now as to what symbolic gestures wedding couples choose to include in their ceremony, and top of that list were wedding ring exchanges followed by handfasting and drinking from the Quaich. I also saw a very welcomed return of couples saying their vows over Oathing Stones, which is such a lovely traditional and touching thing to do. 2021 has been a year of continued dealing with restrictions due to the pandemic, but I have seen such resilience, honour, and love through it all. I truly know what a privileged position I am in, to be trusted with conducting a ceremony, whether that is a wedding, funeral or naming ceremony. Through my celebrant work, I have met some of the most wonderful folk I could ever have met, and to top 2021 off earlier this month, I was asked by our eldest, Evie, if I would conduct her wedding ceremony in 2023 after she proposed to her wonderful partner Kayleigh up a mountain! ......... such exciting times ahead. :) It is only days to go until we all enter another new year; I hope for everyone it is a year of fewer worries, more time to be happy and always remember to tell those you love just how much you do love them sounds simple, but I know we all sometimes forget to do such a simple thing.❤ # # #

THANK YOU ❤️
I’m still on a major high from the last six weeks, to be honest! The response to my styled shoot and that I’m booking weddings has been incredible. I cannot thank everyone who supported me this far enough, I couldn’t have done it without you 🥰
The interest shown in my work and future bookings has been overwhelming, but in the best way possible 😍 I never thought this would work out so well for me, it’s been a work in progress for so long and it still feels surreal to be writing this!

💜 Congratulations to Erica who was married on Friday at Bogbain Farm
Wishing you and your husband all the best 💜
Last week took me to Inverness to Bogbain Farm to capture the intimate wedding for the fun loving Jade & Kevin. It was such a blast from start to finish and I loved their energy and fun nature! It just oozed out of them, you may understand this when you see them screaming for joy at tying the knot or dancing down the aisle with arms in the air. They were a blast to be around, as were their guests. Jade & Kevin had their four children with them and what a credit they are to them, such great kids, so happy for mum and dad. Jade sadly lost her mum before the wedding and she had a moment with her mums personalised gown in the morning and was happy for me to be there to capture this. Such an honour guys and thank you for choosing me to be with you on the journey with covid setting a few dates back, but wow what was a fantastic day it was!! Congratulations again to the Noacks, you rock!!!
