Really looking forward to taking part in Lighting up the Glen again this year. It's taking place on the 22nd of December and starts from our farm down to the Hub in the village of Drumnadrochit.

What an experience it was. We've loved being able to revisit the series on BBC two recently, and it's lovely how you pick up different things the second time around.
Can't wait to watch the new farms on the next series, which is currently being filmed!

What better night to finish than the sunniest day of the season, topped off with an extra hour in bed!
A massive thank you to all who came to pick a pumpkin with us this year. So much joy in seeing families leave the patch with bellies full of delicious food and smiles on their faces.
By the nature of what we do, our children are often found hanging about the patch. I cannot thank you enough if you were one of the families they 'accompanied' on your visit. They have all made new friends, and enjoyed playing with old friends, and I'm humbled by the generosity of our customers towards them. So THANK YOU!

After so many customers this week asked us if we just buy in our pumpkins, I thought I'd share with you how ALL our pumpkins are grown on our farm.
This year we've grown about 7000 pumpkins, right here from seed to shelf. If you've bought a Loch Ness Pumpkin this year, you can sleep well knowing that pumpkin was grown, right here in Glenurquhart, by a very small team of us at Corrimony Farm. Every single pumpkin was hand harvested in September.

A few things to remind you of if you are coming along;
🎃 We respectfully ask that you PLEASE don't arrive earlier than 15 minutes before your ticket time. Please don't be offended if you arrive earlier than your session time and are asked to wait in your car.
🎃 It will take you 40 to 45 minutes from inverness to get here.
🎃 Your session lasts for 1.5 hours.
🎃 Pumpkins vary from £1 to £10
🎃 We have a NO DOGS policy, but there are some lovely local walks for after, just ask a member of staff for recommendations.

We loved having you all and it was an absolutely fantastic way to start our events.

The countdown is on ⏰️. A few bits of admin while I'm here;
Eventbrite have very helpfully 🤔 included the date we open at the bottom of the communication email I sent out last night. Do Not fear, your tickets are attached to the email, check the tickets for the date your are booked in, ignore the date at the bottom of the email. 😤

Otherwise....here's what you need to know;
Directions 🚗
DO NOT FOLLOW SAT NAV! It will lead you up the wrong road.
To find us, please follow the A831 from Drumnadrochit towards Cannich, through Balnain. Keep following the road until you pass the road for the Corrimony Chambered Cairn. Once you pass the turning for Corrimony, you will take the first road on the right. Do not turn left into Corrimony. Signs will be in place to direct you. Once you turn off the A831, please follow the signs into the car park.
Facilities
We have toilets on site, and lots of handwashing facilities. Quila Cridhe and Highland Hog Roasts will be here to provide lots of delicious food and drinks 🍔🧁
We have disabled parking, and a disabled toilet, however being in a field, the Pumpkins are not accessible for standard wheelchair users. Please get in touch if you need to chat with us about accessibility.
What to wear?
The event is held on a working farm. We would recommend wellies on your feet, or at least a pair of sturdy shoes or boots. The walkways are uneven, and is highly likely to be wet, cold and windy. Please keep this in mind when chosing your outfit. Woolly Hats 🧙♂️and Wellies 👢are a perfect combination - gloves are recommended too!
How long does my session last?
Sessions last for 1.5 hours - please try to arrive as close to the start time as possible. Exceptionally early arrivals might have to wait in the car park until we are ready for you - please keep this in mind, and don't be offended - we are just making sure everything is ready for you.
NERF Castle is back and even better!
Remember to bring your own nerf guns and glasses if you want to play!
Dogs
Unfortunately, we are not a dog friendly event. We can however recommend lots of great walks you can do after with your dog - just ask one of the staff and they will be happy to help.

I am now up to date on communications, if you've emailed regarding changes, and haven't had a reply, please send another one to remind me as I have clearly missed the first.
Please remember if you're looking to change the date of your tickets, you need to rebook first before contacting us for a refund of your original tickets. This helps us to process refunds quicker. No refund will be given to those no longer able to come. You are welcome however, to sell on your tickets. If you are buying tickets from someone you don't know, please be careful. Scammers are always watching.

For all wondering, I will be back at Loch Ness Pumpkins this year 😁
🧡- Booking will be mandatory, depending how popular the first couple of days are this may change, updates will be posted each night.
🧡- There will be no walk-ups only bookings so please make sure you share all pumpkin related posts with anyone who may be attending, this is to ensure nobody is disappointed on the day.

Turn around on pictures may take up to 10 days and possibly more, this will be continuously updated as I send out albums.
As for the set it will remain similar to last year with a few small changes ( any suggestions or ideas let me know in the comments ) 🙂
Booking will open for your session at 7pm the NIGHT BEFORE. Sessions are busier this year so please only message when your session booking has opened.

It's harvest week! The harvest has been great this year, and i cant wait to show you all the different varieties we have!
Its an exceptionally busy week on the farm for me, between flowers and pumpkin, which means I'm not in the office.
If you have contacted us recently by DM, please email as our messages are not always monitored. Usually, our policy is no refunds, but we understand that sometimes plans have to change, and that's okay. If you need to change your time or date, you have two options;
1. Purchase your preferred date yourself and then request a refund through eventbrite or by email to [email protected]. A note here; eventbrite fees won't be refunded.
2. Purchase your preferred date yourself, then sell or pass your ticket to a friend.
By doing it this way, you'll be able to ensure you get the date you prefer before we se out. As slots fill up, please don't rely on a speedy response from us to grab the date you want.
Refunds for those who have rebooked will be actioned when we are back In the office. Thank you so much for your patience! If only I could split myself in two...or maybe 4. 🤣🤣

October Pumpkin Picking tickets are starting to fill up. Some dates are now unavailable. The only Saturday tickets left are the 9.30 slot on the 15th, and there's not many. Don't hang about if you're planning to book, because when they're gone, they're gone.

The end of a week of sadness for many around the world. But, with it's origins in Royalty, what better way to commorate the Queen HRH than afternoon tea? No matter your thoughts, she worked until she was 96. An achievement in itself.
Oh wow. What. A. Day. Absolutely LOVED sharing our Sunflower field with all the customers today. The run up has been hectic, and without a pretty strong team behind us, we would not be able to bring these events to you. Feeling so utterly grateful for all the hard work from all angles this week culminating in an amazing first day to our Sunflower events. Met some amazing people and generally had a lovely day. Round 2 tomorrow, looking forward to seeing some more smiling faces. 😃
