Comfortable farmhouse accommodation located 5 miles from Inverurie. Ideal as a base for walking holidays, stone circles and touring castle & whisky trails. Bedrooms are ensuite with free wifi, TV and tea and coffee making facilities.

As you no doubt already know, another cracking aurora last night, almost as good as the 7th September, and once again overpowering what was still quite a bright moon. I've been planning this shot for a while, and it was well worth the wait, despite having to spend nearly 8 hours in freezing conditions on the summit of Millstone Hill. This wasn't the most active parts of the display, but unfortunately there was a fair amount of cloud around at that time, although I still managed to get some decent shots. Feel free to share :)
