You asked. We listened.
This summer, camping is back at Beirhope from 3rd July until the end of August.
When we announced that our camping fields would be taking a break this year, we genuinely thought that chapter was closed for a while. But the number of messages, emails and conversations we’ve had since then told a different story.
So, after a bit of head scratching and a rethink, we’re opening the gates once again.
Just 8 grass pitches. Big skies. Quiet evenings. A chance to swap the rush of everyday life for birdsong, campfires and star-filled skies.
Wake up to the Cheviot Hills on your doorstep, wander the farm tracks, meet the alpacas, enjoy an ice cream in the sunshine and watch the sun disappear behind the hills.
No packed entertainment schedule.
No noisy late-night campsite.
Just space to breathe, slow down and enjoy being together.
Whether you’re returning for another summer at Beirhope or discovering us for the first time, we can’t wait to welcome you.
Camping opens 3rd July ⛺️
Who’s joining us this summer?

***UPDATED TOTAL***

Following extra donations our total now stands at £948. This is a fantastic amount of money that has blown us away. Wow and thanking everyone involved once again.

Let’s all go to Hownam for a 🥧 and lots did. On Friday evening we had the fabulous come along to be the headline, main stage act for the very very exquisite Hownam Pie night! There were savoury pies, pudding pies and pies that weren’t really pies and lots of folk from in and around the Kale Valley. We were fundraising for the 4 defibrillators in our area-a vital resource in rural areas. Running costs are staggering and fundraising ongoing. What a pleasure it was to do our bit. A huge thank you to the Jockuleles who were fantastic, to all the bakers and to everyone who bought a ticket and brought raffle prizes.
£778 was raised and we are delighted. The Jocks commented on what a fantastic community we have and how important but also how rare it is. We don’t take it for granted, we appreciate everyone and thank them all for their support. So LETS ALL GO TO HOWNAM GOR A PIE 🥧

What a fab trek. Talked all things Roman, Anglo-Saxon, erratic stones and gin. We like to cover all angles! My best fun fact is the entrance to round houses usually point South East. Who knows why?
