We regret to announce that, after reviewing the latest information regarding the current equine flu situation, the show has decided to withdraw the Light Horse and Clydesdale sections from this year’s show.

The review considered the guidance issued, and for our show field, it would not have been possible to adhere to all the recommendations involved.

We know it is disappointing, but we need to be sensible and proportionate regarding the potential risks involved and mindful of the welfare implications for both your horses and the livery yards close by the show field.

Getting ready for Houston Agricultural Show tractor parade tomorrow and it’s amazing to see how far we have come!

When we first started the toy bank we ran only at Christmas and now we are able to run all year round, supporting thousands of local children and young people.

We still absolutely love our logo that was designed by Charlie, a local young person 💛

Tonight Route for our annual tractor run. Some tractors will be in The Carrick Centre car park from 5pm and will remain there untill just before 7pm. The Renfrewshire Toy Bank is our charity of choice this year so come out a support a worthy cause.

🐴 Hobby Horse Class 🐴

Join us in the Main Ring after the parade at approximately 3pm for our fun Hobby Horse Class!

Everyone is welcome to take part — bring your own hobby horse or rent or buy one of our inflatable hobby horses available from the SEC Tent.

Come along for plenty of laughs and fun for all ages! 🎉
