What is a low alcohol drink?

Low alcohol drinks contain less alcohol than standard beers and ciders, which is shown by the Alcohol by Volume (ABV) marked on the bottle or can. Alcohol-free drinks contain no more than 0.5% ABV whereas low-alcohol drinks can contain up to 1.2% ABV.
