What an absolute pleasure it was to cook for Sophie and her guests this weekend. 😊

This menu featured:

🥂 Smoked Salmon & Avocado Mousse Beetroot Crisps

😋Crispy Belly Pork Bites with Apple Purée & Crackling Crumb

🍗 Rosemary & Redcurrant Glazed Chicken Breast with Spring Onion Mash, Charred Leeks & Spinach

🍮 Sticky Toffee Pudding with Orange-Scented Clotted Cream

From the first message right through to the day itself, Sophie was an absolute delight to communicate with. Friendly, organised and incredibly welcoming, she made everything run so smoothly. It's always a pleasure working with wonderful hosts who genuinely care about giving their guests a memorable experience.

One of my favourite parts of being a private chef is seeing everyone relax, enjoy great food and spend quality time together while I take care of everything behind the scenes.

🌟👨‍🍳🇬🇷✨ A little taste of Greece this weekend! ✨🇬🇷👨‍🍳🌟

What a fantastic evening creating this bespoke Greek sharing feast for 12 guests at a beautiful lodge in the Yorkshire countryside. 🌿🏡

From marinated olives and a selection of homemade hummus, to baked feta with honey and rosemary, classic moussaka, crispy sweet chilli chicken, char siu pork, and lamb chops served with apricot, date & fig couscous... this one was all about big flavours and relaxed sharing around the table. 🍖🫒🥗

And of course, no Greek feast would be complete without dessert! 🍊🍰 Homemade Greek orange pie served with zesty orange chantilly cream, alongside a silky yuzu cheesecake.

One of my favourite things about being a private chef is creating completely bespoke menus around what my guests love. Whether it's Greek, Italian, British, Mexican, fine dining or a relaxed sharing feast, every menu is designed just for you. 👨‍🍳✨

🌟👨‍🍳☺️A beautiful private dining evening for a very special 65th wedding anniversary done recently 🥂✨

This one was all about creating a relaxed, restaurant-quality experience at home — great food, table service, plenty to eat, and no stress for the family ❤️

On the menu 👨‍🍳🍽️

✨ Canapés
Pickled beetroot tacos
Avocado & fresh crab tostadas
Mini sausages glazed in honey & mustard

✨ Starter
Slow-roasted tomato & red pepper soup with garlic croutons and crusty bread

✨ Main Courses
8oz fillet with asparagus, wild mushrooms, vine tomatoes, crispy rosemary potatoes and peppercorn sauce

Cod loin baked in lemon & saffron butter with charred shallots, spring onion mash and burst cherry tomatoes

✨ Dessert
Warm chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream

🌟👨‍🍳☺️A little look at a gorgeous hen do private dining evening I cooked for last night 👨‍🍳💗🥂

The brief was relaxed, tasty, colourful and full of flavour… so we went for a beautiful Italian-inspired menu, perfect for a group celebration 🍝✨

On the menu:

✨ Starter
Aubergine parmigiana — grilled aubergine layered with ragu sauce, mozzarella and parmesan, then oven baked

✨ Mains
Herb-roasted porchetta stuffed with fennel, spinach and toasted pine nuts, served with creamy potatoes, charred shallots, burst tomatoes and cider apple reduction

OR

Porcini mushroom risotto stuffed aubergine, served with rocket salad and lemon vinaigrette

✨ Dessert
Classic tiramisu finished with pistachio cream

A lovely group, a brilliant night and lots of happy plates — exactly what hen do dining should be about! 💃🍽️🥂
