Summer is always a lovely time here with the animals out enjoying the fresh air and longer days in Ravenstonedale. Everything we produce starts right here with our happy, well cared for livestock. From our homemade goats cheese to our organic goats milk soap and other dairy products.

If you’re passing by, don’t forget we’ve also recently opened our self-service farm shop where you can pick up our products straight from the source. Fresh, local, homemade, and produced right here on the farm.

Goats milk soap is packed with natural moisturising properties that can help leave your skin feeling softer, calmer, and more hydrated. It’s especially popular with people who struggle with sensitive or dry skin because it’s gentle, nourishing, and made with simple ingredients.

All of our soap is handmade using milk from our own dairy goats right here on the farm. No mass production, just small batches made with care using organic ingredients we genuinely believe in. Natural really is best when it comes to skincare 🧼

Join us for an evening of cheese & wine at Piper Hole 🧀🍷

Monday 22nd June at 7:30pm, we’ll be hosting a relaxed evening here on the farm featuring a selection of Piper Hole cheeses alongside wines supplied by Provino!

It’ll be a chance to try something new and enjoy some great local produce in a cosy setting at the farm. Spaces are limited to just 15 people due to undercover seating, so booking is essential.

Have you visited our new self-service farm shop yet? 🧀🏡

If not, here’s your sign to pop by and see what we’ve got available at Piper Hole. Our on-site shop is stocked with our homemade goats cheese, handmade goats milk soap, and other farm favourites, all produced right here in Ravenstonedale using milk from our own dairy goats.

It’s super simple to use, perfect if you’re passing through the area, and a great way to support local, organic produce straight from the farm. We love giving people the chance to shop directly where everything is made.

We’ve had such a lovely weekend at Kendal Country Fest meeting so many amazing people and selling our homemade goats milk soap 🐐🧼

It’s always great getting to chat about what we do and seeing people discover our soaps and farm products for the first time. Everything we make is handmade on the farm using milk from our own dairy goats, and we genuinely love sharing it with you all.

A huge thank you to everyone who came over to support us, bought from our stall, or stopped for a chat.

Summer on the farm is one of our favourite times of year ☀️🐐

Longer days, greener fields, the goats out enjoying the sunshine, and everything feeling a little busier around the farm again. There’s always something going on during summer here, whether it’s feeding time, fresh produce being made, or just enjoying those quieter moments out in the fields.

It’s hard work, but there’s something really special about this time of year and we love being able to share a little bit of farm life with everyone who follows our journey.

We’re excited to say our transition to becoming fully organic is nearly complete 🌿🐐

It’s been a long journey with plenty of hard work behind the scenes, but it’s something we’ve felt strongly about for a long time. From the way we care for our goats to how we manage the land and produce our products, becoming fully organic is all about doing things as naturally and sustainably as possible.

We’re really proud of how far we’ve come and grateful to everyone who has supported the farm along the way. Not long now until we can officially say Piper Hole is fully organic ✨

A lot of people are surprised when they try goats milk products for the first time 🐐🥛

Goats milk is naturally easier for many people to digest compared to cows milk, thanks to its different protein and fat structure. It’s also packed with nutrients and has a smooth, creamy taste that works beautifully in everything from milk and cheese to ice cream and skincare products.

For us, it’s not just about the health benefits though, it’s about producing quality, local products with care and keeping things as natural as possible here on the farm. If you’ve never tried goats milk products before, you might be pleasantly surprised by the difference ✨

We’re tucked away in the beautiful Eden Valley, just outside Ravenstonedale 🐐🌿

If you’re coming from Kirkby Stephen, head along the A685 towards Tebay. After around 4.5 miles, turn left towards Ravenstonedale. Drive through the village and continue for about 1 mile, then turn right down the lane to the farm.

We’ve added a little sketch map to help guide you and trust us, the countryside views along the way are worth the trip 🤍
