I’m normally a skeptic when it comes to gluten free burger buns… but I was pleasantly surprised with the brioche burger bun! It was soft, chewy AND didn’t fall apart in your hands!

Well, the British weather was truly doing its thing, so our outdoor quickly became an indoor one!

The weather let us down, but the food definitely didn’t!

We tried the Schär Gluten Free pizza bases for the first time and they were SO good, especially loaded up with a TONNE of mozzarella.

The brioche buns were soft, doughy and perfect for burgers. We even toasted them on the BBQ for that extra charred flavour!

Then came the flatbreads, loaded with gyros chicken, pickled onions and salad.

And the real test? Our guests weren’t coeliac and absolutely loved everything. They were genuinely surprised that the gluten-free products weren’t dry or lacking in flavour and said that they would be looking out for them in the Free From aisle!

Homemade feast 🤤

Chicken souvlaki, lamb koftas, Turkish-style rice, hummus, tzatziki, fresh salad… basically all our favourites on one table!

And of course, we had to get some Warburtons Gluten Free pittas involved.

A proper Mediterranean feast and honestly, it was SO good.

We recently tried the Ice Kitchen Thai Red Curry with Prawns and it was SO good 🤤 Honestly, the flavour was amazing!

I love how much flavour is packed into such a small tub, and it makes dinner so easy. No buying loads of different ingredients, no faffing and hardly any mess, just grab it from the freezer and you’re good to go.

You can find them in the freezer section at Sainsbury’s, Waitrose & Ocado!
