The Evolution of Coffee Quality Assessment

The Specialty Coffee Association Coffee Value Assessment (CVA) replaces the old SCA cupping form first introduced in 2004.
The new framework separates what a coffee tastes like from how it makes us feel about it, helping remove bias and making quality easier to understand and communicate.
A more transparent, inclusive way to talk about coffee value from producer, to roaster, to cup.
