BBQ season is in full swing 🔥 and we’re back by the river next weekend with another Greens & Friends Summer BBQ. This time, we’ve got a very special guest joining us on the grill
Sam Lamiri, spice barron and founder of Lamiri Harissa, is heading up from London (via Tunisia) for a spicy collaboration with Eat Your Greens Leeds.
Sam and the Lamiri family have been on a mission to bring harissa back to its Tunisian roots, sharing the community and culture behind it across the UK, and very very excited to welcome the team to Leeds. This is proper Tunisian harissa, imported straight from La Marsa, Tunis, made using the finest baklouti chillies, traditionally dried in log ovens for that deep, smoky flavour, following the Lamiri family recipe.
We’ll be serving up marinated lamb kebabs with chermoula, grilled veg, za’atar aioli, and pickles.
Plus, Everything Plant-Based seitan mergeez for a veggie/vegan option 🌱
It’s going to be a hot one 🥵
