Job Role:
• Delivering meat to multiple shops and businesses throughout the North of the UK

• Completing all vehicle checks and paperwork
• Handling and lifting meat carcasses and boxes
• Keeping the lorry clean and tidy at all times

Requirements:
• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Up-to-date Driver CPC Qualification
• Must be able to drive a manual lorry
• Comfortable with early morning starts
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail

Following recent publicity regarding the cattle feed additive “Bovaer” which is set to trial on dairy farms in the UK we can confirm that John Penny and Sons do not, nor plan to use this additive in our livestock production. The additive is being trialled in the dairy industry to reduce methane emissions in dairy cows. Cattle we farm and source are produced for specifically for beef and are not part of the dairy industry. Please be assured that we have no part to play in these trials and that beef supplied by us will continue to be Bovaer free.
