This year, December has been tough, with lots of things happening. Pa we did celebrate your birthday on the 12th, with all your favourite things, prawns, meatballs and your favourite wine 🍷.

As I get older, I realise all that you sacrificed for us. As my grandma used to say, you can't put an old head on young shoulders.

A late post.

Sweet potato dish for Thanksgiving. This only happens once a year. But this year, I used cinnamon bun, Oh-my-gosh, it made this family favourite even better.

Peel and cook 1kg of sweet potatoes, mash the sweet potato, and add 2 tablespoons of cinnamon bun butter. Spoon into a prepared oven pie dish. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of brown sugar over the sweet potatoes and sprinkle 100g of peacon nuts over bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 180', the sugar should be melted, remove from the oven. Place marshmallows on top and place back in the oven for 5 mins. The marshmallows should be bubbling.

Yes, this is seriously good.
