It's probably about time for a proper introduction, so....
Hi, we’re the Taco Tent 😎
And by we, I really mean me!
I’m Alex, the face behind Taco Tent's Mexican inspired goodness.
What started as an idea to serve proper, fresh street food has somehow turned into weekends cooking sizzling tacos, rolling packed burritos and making enormous batches of birria, and I’m absolutely loving it.
Everything on the menu is cooked from scratch using authentic ingredients, served fresh and delivers a punch of flavour. From our 24-hour marinated chipotle and lime chicken, to low and slow cooked birria, as well as those all important salsas, pickles and garnishes that go with them.
Despite being new to the street food scene, the response so far has been incredible. A massive thank you to everyone who’s stopped by, ordered some food, followed the page or recommended us to someone else. 🖤🤍
And because I thought it would be a great idea to kick off a new street food business alongside a full-time job and a young family, Taco Tent appearances might be a little more occasional than I originally imagined 👀
But that just means when we do pop up, you’ll know it’s worth getting yourself down to see us! 😎
