Gluten free at today at in Cannock. I opted for the lunch menu which was confusing as the items were on the main menu and I had to then check the gluten free menu. Anyhow, a Diet Coke and gluten free teriyaki chicken donburi for £14 (weekday lunchtime offer) and then my daughter had the children’s gluten free cha han without the sauce (chicken fried rice with vegetables) £5.50. Really tasty food and with the offer it was great value.

Gluten free eggs benedict. My husbands favourite meal which was perfect for Father’s Day yesterday. First time trying tiger bloomer which was really good. The reality of making eggs benny is that I forgot the bacon in the airfryer so had to recook it, the amount of eggs I go through to get an ok poached egg (egg poach bags are on order) the amount of washing up that’s involved after. Good job it tasted delicious and was worth it

Charming garden nursery with a lovely cafe . Plenty of seating inside and out with a wide range of gluten free options, I mean look at how many are in the video! I had a gluten free tune mayonnaise sandwich which came on tiger loaf bread. I sampled the avocados and courgette cake which I would describe as being similar to a carrot cake (very nice) I then bought the chocolate and almond tarte to takeaway, it was a slightly strange texture and flavour was just ok so I wouldn’t purchase that again. Overall a lovely cafe tucked away 7/10

Stunning setting for a gluten free pub lunch. is a restaurant/pub with plenty of gluten-free options clearly labelled. I chose the gluten-free halloumi fries, five spice crispy duck salad (similar to the crispy beef salad they do but more flavoursome) and the loaded fries which were good. Great food, venue and atmosphere 8/10

We visited Sizergh Castle on Monday in Kendal on our way back from Penrith. It’s a and whilst we’re not members we could still take advantage of the stunning walks and had lunch in the cafe. They had a few gluten free lunch options from salads to jacket potato’s as well as snack options. I had a jacket potato and brought back a GF balboa/rocky road which was nice. They sell ice cream with gluten free sugar cones, peppermint chip was incredible

My SIL made a lovely gluten free lemon, vegetable and beans orzo whilst we’ve been away. She used Tesco finest gluten free orzo and the rest is naturally GF (onion, aubergine, peas, beans, basil, lemon, feta cheese)
