One year ago…

I decided to take The Shepherd Socials seriously.

The horrible yellow one was my logo before that I made after completing my social media management course with Jas Gordon which opened my eyes up to the possibilities of putting my experience and expertise with social media to good use!

To build a business for my future.

I’ve always wanted to keep growing and growing and with The Shepherd Socials I can do that💚

I’m so glad a year ago I logged back in and pulled my finger out my 🍑

I’m so proud of me.

Wasn’t the Great Yorkshire Show last month?

Yes I’m still banging on about it🫠

I attended the Great Yorkshire Show with the very first people who said yes to The Shepherd Socials, my longest standing client - Milk from the Hills🐄

This was their second year trading at GYS. They were non stop the year before so we knew it would be busy again, but this time they had a social media manager who wanted them to be the talk of the show and I think we went beyond that.

A month later people are still referencing the videos from that week.

That is what good social media does. It sticks. It’s not just a fling.

Over the week I posted 11 videos on Instagram and they now total to 941,000 views and 680,000 on Facebook😏

The show was sold out so I wasn’t trying to get people to book tickets, although a few did say they booked just for the milkshakes. My goal was simple. Make sure everyone was talking about them.

I researched trends a few days before to make sure we were hitting them at the right moment and focused on non promotional, relatable content that gets people chatting. And it worked.

Super proud of this and I don’t think I’ll forget it for a long time to come💚
