What’s the saying, “you pay your money, and take your chance? We have lost one of the new cows we bought not long ago, which is a real blow. She had a calf at foot, luckily it’s old enough that it can cope with being weaned. Definitely not Bluetongue, no signs or symptoms, Stephen thinks she ate something she shouldn’t. 😭 As we were getting them in to separate the calf Stephen has treated everything with SpotOn, which saved getting them in twice.

Been quiet with no posts for a few days, catching up on everything, as Mr T said I wasn’t needed this week to bale, that they could manage so I took the opportunity to come away to Sunderland to catch up with a friend for a few days!! BUT…… had a call from Radio Cornwall regarding a couple of slots on Farm Watch tomorrow, so will be on air at 7.20 and 7.50!! There goes one of my holiday lie ins 😂😂😂. Meanwhile, I’ll leave you with a picture of my dessert from last night which I was forced to eat………😝🤪🤣
