Swarm season is now well underway and we’re receiving lots of enquiries about honey bee swarms.

If you come across a swarm of honey bees, please don’t panic and please don’t harm them. If it’s safe and accessible, we’re happy to come and collect them and give them a new home. We do not charge to do this.

We’ve seen advice on some pages suggesting to leave them be (pun not intended) as they will usually move on within a short time. While this is often the case and we know this advice is well intended, there’s no way of knowing where the bees may relocate to. In some cases, they can move into chimneys, or other parts of buildings, which can become much more difficult to deal with later on.

By collecting the swarm, we know that they're going to a new home where they'll be looked after and happy 🐝

🍯Big News🍯

As some of you know, we entered the Essex Honey Show last year and were thrilled to come home with two second places and a commended. But it turns out that we had a little surprise… We were later told that we were actually being awarded the Essex Chronicle One Hundred Trophy too!

We're absolutely over the moon and so glad that all our hard work is paying off! So we guess it’s official — we produce award‑winning honey!

🐝 Swarms 🐝

If you spot a swarm of honey bees gathering in your garden, on a fence, or hanging from a tree branch, there’s no need to be alarmed. .

During a swarm, bees are simply searching for a new home. They’re usually calm, focused, and far less likely to sting than you might expect.

If it’s safe and accessible, we can carefully collect the swarm and relocate it to a suitable new home. Please give us a call on 07824 454509.

Please do not attempt to spray or harm them!

🐝 Spring is here — and so are the honey bees! 🐝

As the weather warms up, honey bees will become much more active. Over the next few weeks you may notice bee swarms.

✨ Don’t panic — and please don’t harm them.
They're simply a colony looking for a new home. Please do not move or disturb them yourself.

💛 If you spot a swarm, we’re more than happy to help.
If it's safe to do so, we'll collect them and give them a new hive to thrive in.

📩 Just send us a DM or drop us a message on WhatsApp, and we’ll come out to assess the situation.

Let’s keep our pollinators safe this spring 🧡🐝
