Tonight we’re getting cosy, escaping the miserable weather and diving into Project Hail Mary — Andy Weir’s brilliantly addictive sci-fi adventure about an astronaut who wakes up alone, millions of miles from Earth, with no memory of how he got there… and the fate of humanity resting on his shoulders.

Expect plenty of opinions, a good chat and, naturally, something lovely in a glass.

We’re bringing together two of our favourite things for one seriously delicious evening at The Pickled Olive.

Start with a rum cocktail on arrival, before diving into 3 rums paired with 9 brilliant cheeses & accompaniments — because one simply isn’t enough.

The rum tasting will take you through some cracking pours, while the wonderful Vicky & Ian from Liverpool Cheese Co. will guide you through the cheeses, pairings and all the delicious details in between.

Spend the evening sipping a glass of fizz while painting your very own ceramic pumpkin to take pride of place in your home all autumn long. Whether you’re bringing your bestie, your mum, or just fancy a wholesome night for yourself, it’s the perfect excuse to slow down, get creative and embrace all the cosy vibes.
