Time to get excited about the return of Lewisham Food Market this Sunday for October's monthly fix of amazing street food, sweet stalls and much more.

And this month the with be bringing the Bask love to Lewisham ❤️

They will be serving Taloas (basque cornflour galettes) as well as patatas baskas which is their twist on patatas bravas; crispy and fluffy potatoes seasoned with Espelette pepper, and topped with a spicy Pikillo Pepper cream and homemade garlic mayo 👌🏻

All handmade with ingredients straight from the basque country including the galettes made by a single artisan back home 🙌🏻

Priding themselves on providing the best Comté outside of France will be bringing the most perfectly curated range of authentic French artisan cheeses to Lewisham Food Market this Sunday, including star cheeses like Mont d’Or/Vacherin, Morbier and Raclette, as well as unknown treasures like Bleu de Gex, Saint Vernier or Val de Loue 🧀

The famous regional "Montbéliardes” cows provide the milk used to make all of their hard and soft cheeses. The cows are fed on fresh grass and roam free, enjoying at least 1 hectare each of pasture in the summer. Their milk is used to make rich, creamy cheeses, which develop beautiful complex characters when ageing 🐄

There will also be a range of charcuterie from Franche-Comté, with hand-made saucissons de montagne, slow-smoked meats and cured hams all made using the finest quality meat and raised locally 👌🏻🇫🇷
