Ready for a refreshing escape?

Meet AlbariĂąo, the Spanish white wine that deserves a spot in your summer glass.

Crisp, coastal and captivating, it’s our pick for August, and pairs perfectly with summer seafood and tapas.

We headed to Spain’s Rías Baixas region to uncover the story behind the vineyards, traditions and landscape that make this wine so special.

Fancy discovering it for yourself? Pop into your local Jeroboams to try it for free this month. If you fall for it (and we think you might), buy two or more bottles in store and receive a complimentary RĂas Baixas tote bag, while stocks last.

Meet Mort 🦔

One of the best things about running a wine shop is the people we meet and the stories they share. This week, one of our Muswell Hill customers told us about Mort, a three-legged hedgehog he’s fostering after she sadly lost a leg in a garden strimmer accident.

Mort needed a cosy new home. We happened to have a 12-bottle Bordeaux case going spare, so naturally it was transformed into her very own Château de Mort, Margaux 🍷

We’re hoping to track down a photo of Mort enjoying her new château. In the meantime, here’s a snap of her new residence!

Inspired by Mort’s story, we’ve made a donation to The Wildlife Trusts to help support wildlife conservation across the UK.

As the weather warms up, it’s also a gentle reminder to check long grass before mowing or strimming. A few extra seconds could save a hedgehog’s life.

The 2014 Patience is the first release under Squerryes since 1731 ’ new prestige label, and this isn’t just another vintage. It’s the culmination of 300 years and 10 generations of the Warde family’s stewardship at Squerryes, with a decade spent bringing this particular wine to life.

Named after Sir Patience Warde, ancestor of Henry Warde and former Lord Mayor of London, the wine sets the benchmark for what the Patience label will represent.

tasted it with Squerryes ambassador Tom Surgey and said the moment it hit the glass “made my heart race.”

A very limited amount is available now at Jeroboams Elizabeth Street. No waiting list. No allocations. Just first come, first served.

If you’re heading to the tennis, pop into our Wimbledon shop on the way for chilled bottles and complimentary glasses of NYETIMBER, because nothing says “I’m ready for Centre Court” quite like bubbles in hand. 🥂

We’ll also be pouring samples of Kopke On Ice throughout the tournament, so if you haven’t tried it yet, now’s your moment!

And because we like to keep the good times rolling, our bin end sale is still on, exclusively in-store at Wimbledon, with a selection of bottles at reduced prices while stocks last.

Consider it your sign to pop in, browse, and maybe walk out with a bargain or two. Or if you’d rather skip the trip, just get in touch and we’ll sort you out.

“I have a feeling this ‘grape-based’ drink will amaze Aperol acolytes and Campari fiends alike... You can dress it up with all manner of flavoured tonics, but the perfect pour is over masses of ice with a twist of orange peel.”

Port for summer? Yes please.

Kopke On Ice is a fresh take on white Port from the world’s oldest Port House, founded in 1638. Bright, dry and naturally lower in alcohol than a spirits-based spritz, it’s made for long summer evenings.

Break the ice and give it a try. Link in bio. 🍊

While the world of wine spans every corner of the globe, this week we’re turning our attention closer to home.

is a chance to celebrate the producers, vineyards, and bottles helping to put England firmly on the wine map. Chalky soils, coastal breezes and the perfect cool climate have turned the likes of Bacchus, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir into something truly special.

Behind the scenes at Kaesler Wines, where the magic for the Old Bastard Shiraz begins. 🍇

The family first planted vines in the heart of Barossa Valley back in 1893, and have since become one of the region’s greatest names. Some of those original gnarled bush vines are still standing today, forming the backbone of the wines they make now. Their full, expressive wines are the perfect match for grilled meat and vegetables when temperatures rise.
