🍇 W**ery Spotlight — Santus (Lombardia)
Santus w**ery is located in Rovaro, in the Franciacorta area of Lombardia. In 1995, agronomists Maria Luisa Santus and Gianfranco Pagano decided to devote themselves full-time to w**egrowing, with the goal of producing exclusively Franciacorta w**es.
The estate covers 10 hectares, with around 60,000 vines planted during the first three years. The founders personally take care of the vineyard management, with a philosophy focused on protecting nature and avoiding standardisation.
Santus works with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, producing Franciacorta w**es including Brut, Satèn, Rosé Extra Brut and Dosaggiozero, with a strong focus on single-vintage w**es.

The vineyards are situated at higher altitudes, benefiting from cooler temperatures and strong day-night variation, which help maintain freshness in the grapes.
