SOME NEWS
*Deep breath*
Firstly, the last 4 years have been an absolute blast. What started out as a way to survive a global pandemic grew into something beyond our wildest dreams. We cannot thank our customers, clients, family and friends for all of your love and support and for making the Happy Platter as successful as we have been.
We took a break over Christmas, our first one since we started, and honestly, it felt like an emergency stop in the fast lane of the M25 during rush hour! We was exhausted, behind on life, and we came back down to earth with a bump. We needed to take a long hard think during that time off and look our work/life balance and what was working/not working.
Initially, that looked like bigger premises, more staff and a whole heap of bigger responsibilities but once we started looking around we realised something wasn’t sitting right with either of us. We’ve had lots of long conversations and have driven our nearest and dearest mad trying to figure out a way forward that makes us happier, less exhausted, and a little more in control.
So, we are changing things up over here. We are going to have some time out to give us time to re-focus and rebrand. What we have in mind feels right and exciting and we can’t wait to share it all with you soon(ish).
This doesn’t affect any outstanding orders, they will of course be honoured, we won’t be taking any new orders for the time being simply to allow is time to get ready for the new venture.
So it’s not goodbye, just a see you soon x
