On this day of the auspicious day to start new things! I am stepping out from behind the jars, and spices to say hello! I’m Thana, the founder of RUCI - and today, I’m finally showing up as myself.

One of our favorite things about working food fairs today, is the team getting to debrief over delicious food in the evening!

A few weeks ago whilst at , we met the brilliant team and after sampling some of their delights we left with a charcuterie pack for the evening. Paired we our pineapple chutney, seeni sambol and lime chutney we found that the spice and sweetness from our jars complimented the salty fats from their meats perfectly.

If you’re in the mood to test out Christmas charcuterie options, defo don’t miss out on this combo - it’s been in regular rotation for us since 🥰

It’s been a busy couple of weeks here at Ruci with us having a stall at in August and then at earlier this month and finally having worked with a brilliant group of Sri Lankan women to form and put on an event at this weekend!

We’ll definitely be posting more in-depth content about all of the above soon, but whilst we recover here’s a snap of one of our favorite quick breakfasts. Frozen paratha, fried eggs, soy sauce and seeni sambol, absolute perfection in our eyes 😍
