I eat my Nuts & Seeds on its own every single day - because honestly? It’s delicious enough not to need anything added to it. No extras, no refined sugar, just proper fuel.

But today is my birthday 🎂 (49 - last year of my forties!) so I treated myself to a bowl with Greek yoghurt and blueberries. Because why not.

A Gold Star Great Taste Award winner — and honestly, I think they got it right 😄

My Nuts & Seeds is one of those things I’m quietly very proud of - a blend of oats, crushed almonds, cashews, whole pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds, toasted in extra virgin olive oil and naturally sweetened with honey. No refined sugar, just a genuinely delicious, healthy breakfast.

Perfect with yoghurt and berries on a sunny morning ☀️

Nuts & Seeds started on my kitchen worktop. Then something brilliant happened - people loved it! Orders grew and I knew I needed help with the baking. Now a small, brilliant team bake it to my exact recipe - and every batch comes straight back to me. I taste test the lot, bag it up and post it myself. It never leaves my hands for long.

My other recipes? Still made in my own kitchen — I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My oven broke. Not ideal when you bake from home. 😬

Luckily I have two, so orders kept going without a hitch — but once the engineer fixed it, there were a few very late nights catching up on batches. No complaints though, that’s just part of it.

This is the reality of running a small business from your kitchen. It’s not always smooth, but it’s always made with a lot of care (and occasionally, a little stress 😅).

Back to full capacity now and very glad to have both ovens firing again. 🙌

Bank holidays are my favourite. 💛 Family time, slow mornings, a breakfast that isn’t eaten standing up.

But Monday is over, and the kitchen is calling.

While the long weekend works its magic on everyone else’s inboxes, mine fills up with orders — and I love that. Every single one means someone’s about to start their morning with a bowl of something really good.

So this week it’s heads down, apron on, and a lot of 72% Dark Chocolate & Goji Berry coming out of my oven.
