Our "as far as we know" origin story
Fountain was born in the great city of New York and was conceived by a beautiful Swede, Tomas (that's him in bed with his dog) and a man on a mission, Bruce.
Legend has it they met in a playground and got chatting whilst their kids played but that is now the stuff of myth.
What is true is that it is fair say that Tomas and Bruce both loved a drink.
In fact they loved to drink so much that they set about making their own drinks company.
So with luck and a fair wind on their side they started their own craft brewery in the NYC Mets stadium, brought in master brewer Richie (makes sense to have someone who actually knows what to do) and launched Fountain.
But being the wonderful souls that they are they knew that it had to be something that they were proud of. So they set out to make the best hard seltzer in the world.
To do so they knew that they wanted it to be delicious, refreshing, not too sweet (nobody wants that horrid “sugary teeth feeling” that the other hard seltzers have), have absolutely no artificial flavourings and the right amount of alcohol to make it feel good. After all hard seltzer is all about the party.
Fast forward and along come two friends of Tomas, Fadi and Jon (equally beautiful souls) and over a (hungover) brunch in NYC in late 2019 they hatched a plan to bring Fountain to the UK.
And here we are…
