We recently had the joy of welcoming Mandira Bedi — actress, designer, and one of India's most beloved television presenters — to Braeside Bond, where she walked the warehouse, tasted straight from her own cask, and talked to us about her journey in the whisky world.

Actress. Cricket World Cup host. And now — cask owner. Meet Mandira Bedi. ( )

Last week, we welcomed Mandira Bedi to our warehouse in Scotland to see, sample and stand beside the casks that belong to her.

She sat down with us for an interview about why she chose whisky as an investment, the big role her dad played in her love of single malts, and why — after seeing it all in person — she decided to buy even more casks.

Because that's the beauty of a cask: you can actually go and hug it. You can walk in, taste it, and then wait for your next visit, when the whisky has grown older, richer and more valuable than the time before.

It feels less like buying an asset and more like investing in time itself — something that quietly gets better every year you own it. You can't say that about most investments on a screen.

Our International Wine & Spirit Competition - IWSC Gold has reached the The Scottish Parliament ! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Our Mythical Beasts Aberlour 13-Year-Old was awarded Gold Outstanding at the 2026 International Wine & Spirit Competition — 98 points, one of only 6 whiskies to earn the top distinction out of nearly 550 Scotch whiskies.

And now the celebration continues — Claire Baker MSP (Claire Baker ) has lodged a motion in the Scottish Parliament (S7M-00546) recognising the win, and sent us this lovely letter to mark it.
