Macknade Tasting Day 🤍

What a lovely day it was! We had such a wonderful time at Macknade meeting so many of you and, most importantly, seeing just how much everyone loved Atrangi.

From discovering new favourites to chatting about different ways to use our chutneys, sauces and marinades at home, we loved every single conversation. There were so many lovely reactions, questions and “oh my god, this is so good!” moments — exactly what makes tasting days so special for us!

A huge thank you to the incredible team at Macknade for being so welcoming and looking after us so well. You made us feel completely at home, and we’re so grateful to have had the opportunity to share Atrangi with such a brilliant community of food lovers.

And to everyone who stopped by, had a taste, picked up a jar, told us your favourite or simply came over for a chat — thank you. It genuinely means the world to us. 🥹🤍

We had the best time and can’t wait to be back!

✨ Our next Atrangi tasting at Macknade is on 31st October 2026! Come by, say hello, have a taste and hopefully discover your new favourite Indian pantry staple.

Christmas has its magic, New Year’s Eve has its sparkle, but the first chilly evening that calls for a proper curry? That has our heart. 🍂

It’s the season for something warm on the hob, good bread on the side, and a little Atrangi Mint & Coriander Chutney with Sunday’s lamb.

What’s the first dish you make when cosy season arrives?

150+ farm shops and delis across the UK, a £0 marketing budget, and a rather persuasive team of vegetables. 🥕🥬

We’ve always believed our jars belong where good food begins, among fresh ingredients and people who love deciding what to make with them. So, naturally, we gave the veg a little help introducing Atrangi.

Which vegetable would you pair with an Atrangi jar first? 👇

You can put the stick down, the Mango Masala Chutney already did the work. 🥭

Sweet, tangy and full of Indian flavour, this is one trap we’d walk straight into. Be honest, would it catch you too? 👀

I’m literally this close to adding another jar to the order. 🤏

The first Junglee Tandoori Marinade is for the weekend BBQ. The second is for when everyone asks what you used and you’d rather give them a jar than share your secret. 😉

Smoky, aromatic and far too easy to get attached to. Are you ordering one or already making a case for two? 👀

Behind the jars, unfiltered. 🫙

Before an Atrangi jar reaches your kitchen, there’s a busy one behind it, ingredients being prepared, batches being stirred, jars moving along the line and a team keeping it all going.

This is a little glimpse of the people and the process behind the flavours you know. Which part would you like to see more of? 👀

SPEEDY SANDWICHES PART 3: MASALA OMELETTE BAGUETTES 🥖

Golden masala omelette, a buttered baguette and a generous spread of Atrangi Mint & Coriander Chutney. Fresh, herby and full of flavour, it’s the little extra that makes this sandwich worth putting your lunch break on hold for.

Serves: 2

Ingredients ✨

• 4 eggs
• ½ red onion, finely chopped
• 1 tomato, finely chopped
• 1 green chilli, finely chopped
• 10g coriander, finely chopped
• 1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
• 1 tsp turmeric
• 3 tbsp butter
• Salt, to taste
• 1 small baguette, halved and split lengthways
• 4 tbsp Atrangi Mint & Coriander Chutney

Method ✨

1. Whisk the eggs in a bowl, then add the onion, tomato, green chilli, coriander, chilli powder, turmeric and salt. Mix until well combined.
2. Heat 1 tbsp butter in a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat. Pour in half the egg mixture and cook for 1–2 minutes on each side, until golden and set.
3. Repeat with another tablespoon of butter and the remaining egg mixture.
4. Spread the remaining butter on one side of each baguette portion and generously spread the chutney on the other. Pile in the omelette and serve.

Save this for your next lunch break, and send it to someone who takes their sandwiches seriously.
