Ça mérite un énorme coup de projecteur, à 1000 %… 🤩🇫🇷

Un week-end absolument génial, et tout a commencé dès vendredi soir ! 🕺💃 Quel incroyable concentré de talent ! ✨

Un immense bravo à Candice Dubuet, Marie-Christine Rambeau, et à tous les brillants danseurs du .chateaudemalves (Centre Chorégraphique du Château de Malves) !

Leur création contemporaine « ÉCHEC & MAT » a totalement investi la scène du Théâtre Na Loba à Pennautier ce vendredi et samedi, avec une énergie absolument contagieuse. En plus, Pennautier est un village tellement charmant pour accueillir l'événement ! 😊😊

Une nouvelle preuve inspirante de tout ce que notre scène artistique locale a à offrir ! Franchement, c'était une soirée purement WAOUH !! Je suis toujours en admiration devant un tel talent et ce superbe esprit communautaire, tous âges et niveaux confondus… et je dois dire que le niveau était particulièrement élevé !! Vraiment impressionnant. 🙌

Si vous n'avez pas eu la chance de voir l'une des trois représentations du week-end, vous avez raté quelque chose de spécial. 🎭

MAIS si vous, vos proches, ou des jeunes qui aimeraient apprendre la danse contemporaine cherchez un cours : c'est CETTE école de danse qu'il vous faut !!! Allez jeter un œil… Malves est en train de créer quelque chose de magique !!!! 🩰✨

This 1000% deserves a shout out … 🤩💃🇫🇷

An absolute blast of a weekend and it all started Friday night! 🕺💃 What an incredible weekend of talent! ✨

Massive congratulations to Candice Dubuet, Marie-Christine Rambeau, and all the brilliant dancers from .chateaudemalves (Centre Chorégraphique du Château de Malves)!

Their contemporary production "ÉCHEC & MAT" (Checkmate) completely took over the Théâtre Na Loba in Pennautier this Friday and Saturday, and the energy was absolutely infectious. Plus, Pennautier was such a lovely village to host it in! 😊😊

Another inspiring showcase of what the local community arts scene has to offer!
Honestly, that was an evening of pure WOW!! I’m always in awe of such talent and the excellent community spirit of all ages and levels… some of the highest level I’d say!! So impressive. 🙌👏

If you didn’t manage to catch one of the three weekend shows, you missed something special. 💃

BUT if you or anyone you know—or young ones looking to learn contemporary dance—are searching for a class, this dance school is it!!! Check it out… Malves is producing something special !!!! 🩰✨

Well just saying but this turned out to be the very last Daim bar in the jar … not too happy people!!!! 😔🤣

In the early days of my time in France, I used to love a cheeky coffee at a bar/café in Carcassonne that served a mini Daim bar on the side … and annoyingly for anyone with me, I couldn’t resist the slogan - yes, every single time! 😂😂😂
It’s since changed it’s offer of mini choccy .. I wonder if I was the cause ?!🤭😂

It sparked a little reminiscing while sat here in my little corner of france 😊🇫🇷

Kitchen Conundrums! 🤯
Anyone else get total decision paralysis out of nowhere? 😳🤷‍♀️

I am a massive noodle fan. Massive. Loooovveee them. But, well, a quick stir-fry just turned into an absolute block of decision-making. Standing there looking at the options felt like trying to solve a Rubik's cube in a crowded central train station with all the noise and crazy and that “aaahhhhh” feeling.

Hang on though… to be fair, I could have just stopped at trying to solve a Rubik’s cube… Did you ever succeed? Did you ever move the stickers around? Did you ever take it apart and put it back together so it was miraculously complete? 🤭 …I digress!!!

Back to my kitchen conundrums. My brain completely locked up over the combinations:
* Noodles in the pan… mixed all in, coated in all the yumminess… one-pot wonder?
* Forget the noodles, same thing but with rice?
* Rice plated on the side of the bowl?
* Rice in a separate bowl?
* Back to noodles?.. Udon, soba, wheat, egg, or rice noodles?!

The choices were so overwhelming, I was just staring mindlessly at the options in front of me and the whole thing almost ground to a complete standstill. I’ve come to realise a speedy stir-fry can indeed be very slow when your brain freezes!

In a moment of pure panic, I just grabbed the rice and got it in some water quickly before I could change my mind again. (Don’t even mention the´to rinse or not to rinse’ debate at this point! 😳😂)

Please tell me I’m not the only one who secretly hopes for an "only one option available" menu when the decision demon comes out to play? 😅

I think pretty much every single time I enter my kitchen in this wonderful corner of France, I just have an absolute blast!
What better place is there when it’s always fun AND you get to come out with something delicious to eat at the end?! 🥒🤩😂

Do you remember when my Thai basil was just a tiny little baby sprout and I was crossing my not so green fingers hoping to keep everything alive? 🤞

Now look !!!!!! 👀 😀
It’s grown into something absolutely fabulous! 🌿✨

Safe to say I’m officially a proud plant parent!
