Welcome to Aunty Jean’s Spice Isle Kitchen 🇬🇩
 
Growing up, our home was always filled with the wonderful aroma of freshly baked cakes, Caribbean treats and the beautiful scent of spices. Those memories inspired a love of baking and authentic island flavours.
 
My parents are both from Grenada affectionately known as the “Spice Isle”. If you’ve never visited, it’s a destination that deserves a place on your bucket list. With it’s breathtaking beaches, warm hospitality and unspoilt beauty, Grenada is truly one of the Caribbean’s hidden gems. World-renowned for its incredible spices, and those same spices are at the heart of our family recipes. The unique blend of spices is what makes every cake, drink and treat so memorable.
 
Adding to our family’s heritage, mum also grew up in Trinidad, bringing together the best flavours and traditions from two beautiful Caribbean islands.
 
At Aunty Jean’s Spice Isle Kitchen, we’re proud to share recipes that have been inspired by generations of Caribbean cooking, made with quality ingredients, care and plenty of love. For decades Mum has been cooking and baking for family, friends and colleagues, and her delicious food and cakes have been at the heart of countless birthdays, family gatherings, celebrations and special events.
