Went to and spotted they had a vegan afternoon tea… obviously had to try it for the gang 🌿☕️

✨ First impressions:
Beautiful setup, proper afternoon tea vibes without feeling like the vegan option was an afterthought.

🥪 Savoury:
5 items all together I only liked 3 but that’s my personal preference, it’s nice to have variety

🍰 Sweet:
This is where it really delivered, I loved every sweet treat and had a selection of textures and flavours! Was obsessed with the scones

🫖 Overall:
A proper vegan afternoon tea experience, not a compromise. Worth it for a treat day or catching up with friends. Unlimited tea available too, the customer service was great

The stay in the spa and hotel was amazing, this place makes for such a nice getaway and having the vegan afternoon tea was just a added bonus

Would I go back? Yes.
Would I bring non-vegans? Also yes.

I recently visited on Old Street and it was honestly such a great experience from start to finish. The menu had a really thoughtful mix of dishes, and everything we tried was genuinely delicious.

We started with a pkhali selection as a sharing plate, along with spinach, pepper, and aubergine variations, which were fresh, vibrant, and full of flavour. The rustic lobio soup was a standout for me — rich, comforting, and beautifully balanced, especially with the warm bread. I could have happily had that on repeat.

The khachapuri with forest mushrooms and walnut kharcho was another highlight — earthy, indulgent, and really well executed. We also tried the mushroom khinkali (Georgian dumplings), which were packed with flavour and perfectly cooked.
the pear and grape drink was light and refreshing, a really nice contrast to the richness of the earlier dishes.

Overall, everything was amazing. The food felt authentic, well thought-out, and satisfying without being heavy. It was such a lovely dining experience, and I’d absolutely recommend it if you’re looking for something a bit different but genuinely delicious.

🕵️‍♀️🔐 Family mission: ACCEPTED

We took on Operation Black Sheep at in Islington and honestly… such a fun day out from start to finish.

The puzzles were just the right mix of challenging and exciting, so both the adults and kids could get involved (no one left standing awkwardly pretending to “supervise” 😅). Watching everyone work together, race against the clock, and celebrate the little wins made it even better.

It’s one of those experiences that gets everyone off their phones and actually doing something together… which feels rare these days.

If you’re looking for something different for a family day out, I’d 100% recommend this. We’ll definitely be back to try another room 👀

Such a brilliant night at Tattershall Castle Boat Show Comedy last night.

Huge laughs, great atmosphere, and a seriously good lineup:
MC , , , and absolutely delivered.

There’s something special about watching comedy on a boat in the middle of London with the city lights around you and a crowd ready to laugh.

If you’re looking for a fun night out in London, I honestly can’t recommend enough. Definitely one to add to your list.

Sometimes letting go isn’t a choice, it’s something life asks of you.

Lupus flares have left my hair much thinner over time, and if I’m honest, cutting it felt really emotional. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to the length, and it made me sad to see that change in myself.

But today I chose to see it differently. A reset. A fresh start. A new chapter.

Grateful to be in the hands of Wolfie, in who always makes me feel looked after and confident that whatever we do, it will be right.

Hair grows. Bodies heal. Seasons change.

So this is me letting go of what was, and welcoming what comes next. ✨

New hair.
New energy.
New beginning.

Smart Organic Shopping: Where It Actually Matters

We talk about the strategic approach to buying organic foods. Instead of buying everything organic, we discuss which produce matters most—the Dirty Dozen like berries, leafy greens, and apples that absorb more pesticides, versus the Clean Fifteen like avocados and bananas with natural protection. We share practical tips like washing produce well, varying your diet, and prioritizing organic only where it has the biggest impact for your health.

5 Reasons Why Plant-Based Living is the Future

I break down the top 5 reasons why more people are going plant-based: the health benefits like lower disease risk and better energy, the positive environmental impact by reducing emissions and deforestation, the ethical choice to end animal suffering, being part of a global culture shift toward conscious living, and the amazing variety of delicious plant-based foods available today. It’s not about perfection-it’s about making a real difference.

Crispy Sushi Ice Cream Balls (Vegan Dessert Twist) 🌱🍨✨

I made a fun, crispy dessert using ingredients. Think fried ice cream… but with a sushi-inspired twist.

I start by cooking Emma Basic sushi rice, then season it with sushi vinegar and allow it to cool slightly. Once ready, I mix it with Emma Basic panko breadcrumbs which are incredibly light, crunchy, and high quality. To this, I add cane sugar, organic cane sugar, and a touch of cinnamon for warmth and sweetness.

The mixture is then flattened onto cling film. In the centre, I place a scoop of vegan raspberry swirl ice cream, before carefully wrapping and shaping the rice mixture around it using the cling film to form a tight ball.

The balls go into the freezer until fully firm. Once set, they’re quickly fried until golden and crispy all over.

To finish, I drizzle over miso caramel sauce which I made with Emma basic miso. You can find the caramel recipe in my previous video (the vegan miso mousse post).

Crispy outside, creamy inside, sweet with a hint of umami.
Hope you enjoy 🤍 Peace and love.
