Ten days. Two attacks. Two of our partners.❤️‍🩹⛓️‍💥

Artania, Beykush’s wine bar in Podil, one of Kyiv’s most beloved spots had its windows blown out, glass counters shattered, and irreplaceable vintage bottles destroyed.😤

This week, Honey Badger nalyvka lost nearly their entire current supply.💥

We know how much you love these wines and nalyvkas. And right now, the most powerful thing you can do is simply buy a bottle.🥂🫂

Every time you enjoy a Ukrainian wine, you also help resilience and rebuilding.💪

One bottle makes a real difference. Link in bio👆

This is Artania wine bar in the heart of Kyiv’s Podil district, known for championing Ukrainian wines exclusively. ❤️‍🩹

On May 24th 2026, a drone and missile attack left like this... Shattered glass where wine glasses once stood. Broken windows taped together with whatever was to hand.

A piece of the destroyed drone found right on their doorstep.

And one week later, on Kyiv’s 1,544th birthday, Artania doors are open . Wines poured. Glasses raised. Because that is what Ukraine does.💪♾️

I’m sorry if this doesn’t fit into your perfect Sunday. BUT We have, or should I say Must, share stories like this one. Not because they are easy to look at, but because this is the everyday reality of Ukrainian life and Ukrainian wine cultur right now.

These are real people, real places, real resilience.

If this moves you, please consider supporting Artania it would mean a world to them back in Ukraine! DM us we will guide you how to help🇺🇦🍷

👏🏻 “Second Wind” premier at

“Second Wind” is a breathtaking Ukrainian documentary that follows five war-scarred heroes — four amputee veterans and a wounded servicewoman — as they trade battlefield hardships for a new kind of summit: Mount Kilimanjaro. Shot with stunning cinematography by Silver Bear winner Serhii Mykhalchuk and directed by Masha Kondakova, the film doesn’t just document a physical climb — it reveals a deeper journey of resilience, friendship, and healing.

The film’s protagonists — Olha “Vysota” Yehorova, Vladyslav “Shatya” Shatilo, Mykhailo “Grizzly” Matviiv, Roman “Dobryak” Kolesnyk and Oleksandr “Ragnar” Mikhov — endure pain, prosthetics, and self-doubt, only to stand together at Africa’s highest peak and raise a symbol of hope. Their story turns pain into purpose and inspires viewers to find their own second wind.

It’s still unbelievable! 4th Anniversary of russian full-scale invasion in Ukraine

War in the heart of Europe is still going on, becoming severe each year, taking more lives, destroying, bringing dispare, measuring with courage and strength.

This year several wineries and factories were destroyed by russian missiles and drones.

On the photo you can see the bottles from the Price Trubetskoy winery, made in 2022. It was one of the oldest Chateau in Ukraine, dating back to 1896, with a marvelous collection of wines produced within the 20th century.
Russians occupied the Chateau in first days of full-scale invasion and lived their, crashing everything around. In September 2022 that area was de occupied. The vineyards stayed mined, the Chateau robbed and damaged.
This February 2025 russians bombed the winery and destroyed it totally.

Ukrainian winemakers work hardly each day, struggling from the missile and drones attacks, absence of light, water supply, heating, lack of men’s power, ruined roads etc.

We are deeply encouraging everyone reading this post to keep supporting Ukraine and its producers. In this way you are giving some light and warmth to Ukrainians literally and figuratively.

Thank you 💛💙
