It’s still unbelievable! 4th Anniversary of russian full-scale invasion in Ukraine
War in the heart of Europe is still going on, becoming severe each year, taking more lives, destroying, bringing dispare, measuring with courage and strength.
This year several wineries and factories were destroyed by russian missiles and drones.
On the photo you can see the bottles from the Price Trubetskoy winery, made in 2022. It was one of the oldest Chateau in Ukraine, dating back to 1896, with a marvelous collection of wines produced within the 20th century.
Russians occupied the Chateau in first days of full-scale invasion and lived their, crashing everything around. In September 2022 that area was de occupied. The vineyards stayed mined, the Chateau robbed and damaged.
This February 2025 russians bombed the winery and destroyed it totally.
Ukrainian winemakers work hardly each day, struggling from the missile and drones attacks, absence of light, water supply, heating, lack of men’s power, ruined roads etc.
We are deeply encouraging everyone reading this post to keep supporting Ukraine and its producers. In this way you are giving some light and warmth to Ukrainians literally and figuratively.
Thank you 💛💙
