Some bottles don't age. They appreciate.🥃

Macallan 1958-1959 25 Year Old Anniversary Malt. Live now on Wh**ky.Auction.

Launched in the mid-1990s by United Distillers (now Diageo), the Rare Malts Selection was a run of limited, cask strength bottlings drawn from the company's own warehouses, including whiskies from distilleries that have since fallen silent. These releases have become a benchmark for single cask-style bottlings from major distilleries.

Discover a Brora and Caol Ila in our current auction at Wh**ky.Auction.

Which closed distillery do you wish you'd tried?

Founded in 1897 in Carron, Speyside, Imperial was named to mark Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. For over a century it produced wh**ky that found its way into some of the great blends, with only a small number of bottlings ever released as single malt.

In 1998, the stills fell silent. The building was later cleared to make way for a new distillery, and today there's nothing left of Imperial on the Speyside landscape.

Whether you're chasing a gap in your collection or simply curious about a lost name, discover this impressive bottling of Imperial 1976 25 Year Old Silent Stills in our current auction.
