My story began in 2012 when I trained as a Le Cordon Bleu chef to consolidate and formalise my passion of fine dining cuisine. However my food and wine journey started before that when I bought land and developed a 15 acre vineyard in New Zealand and then became immersed in the wine industry. This ignited a passion and interest in sustainable culinary arts, and sharing the passion of regional prod
uce infused with classical cooking styles and the organic benefits this lifestyle has to offer. Through this interest and understanding of wine, I decided that I would like to improve my palate by learning more about the world of culinary arts, so undertook a course in the global cookery institute Le Cordon Bleu. After graduating it became evident that a future in this exciting industry beckoned so after much deliverance I have embarked on a quest to follow my dreams and share my knowledge and skills with like minded foodies worldwide. Cooking well and producing restaurant standard food is something that many feel is unobtainable, however it isn't if you learn the foundations of cooking. This can either be through helping you with a dinner party or an event or teaching you methods and skills to learn classical or simple cooking from scratch. Training to be a Le Cordon Bleu chef is like being on Master chef every day for 9 months! Its exhausting, exhilarating and nerve wracking but allay those fears I won't be treating any tutoring sessions like that however the process taught me that it is easier than you think to produce a quality dish and for you dieters healthy too! Aside from my technical cooking and food preparation skills, I understand how important it is to choose the freshest local and sustainable produce to help create the best finished product. I have catered for clients with specific dietary requirements. I have an international style of cooking, based on a classical European cuisine heritage, but with a modern and innovative twist. From traditional English dishes to a healthy Mediterranean approach, I can produce stunning, mouth watering food matched with equally fine wines from around the world. Available for:
