The head chef of Flamin' Liberty Richard Sandiford, has 20 years experience of cooking under his belt. Worked for Marco Pierre White’s Titanic, Quaglinos and helped set up Plane food for Gordon Ramsay. He can now be found at one of the most talked about and reviewed restaurants in the UK – The Hawksmoor. He was previously Head Chef at Hawksmoor Guildhall before moving to open the Hawksmoor Knight

Richard is delighted to have recently finished filming with Michel Roux Jr for C4’s ‘ The Diner’ and to be part of such an exciting and important project, with the Hawksmoor team. Richard will be at Meatopia 2015 for the third year running, involved in the Hawksmoor on Saturday and on Sunday introducing Flamin’ Liberty. Richard got a taste for the pop up scene working at Bistrotheque’s Reindeer and Supersonic Masonic Supper Club and also Green Onion supper club. Richard shares his passion with Emma Jerrard who has ran events for over 15 years and together 7 years ago, introduced Rockadollar dining, their own pop up concept. Out of various pie and mash shops in the East End, they delivered brunches, Sunday roasts and private dining experiences. In the last year they have introduced Flamin' Liberty to their pop up family. A Street food experience focusing mainly on great quality meat, cooked over logs and hardwood charcoal on a Drumbecue. Richard and Emma get their kicks out of discovering new taste sensations, offering seemingly simple dishes which are bang on flavour.
