Did you know I have a weekly newsletter that goes out on Substack?

Here's this week with delicious things available to order wherever you are in the world (some of them, at least!).

Here's one for all of you, not just the people in - or coming to - London! ☺️

BREAKFAST! 😍 Feeling very pleased with myself that I bought one of these Milo (I know! 🤩) Escargots made by Nicola Lamb o/ Daisy Green Collection for the charity bake sale yesterday at Borough Market organised by Clerkenwell Boy & Arabica London.

Tasting this has got me very excited about the new Daisy bakery!

Congratulations and thank you to CB, the Arabica team and all of the amazing chefs and helpers. 👏 I bought more things than I can reasonably eat and was still sad I couldn’t stay longer and buy. 😢

It’s easy to be supportive of female-owned businesses when they make caramels as delicious as this! 🤩 These were a gift from my neighbour, Beth. She started this year after giving these chewy treats to friends for years. She‘s launched this alongside homeschooling two kids and working. Amazing. FYI the chocolate caramels are especially satisfying (of course I’d say that 😂).

I think I might have found the best in London! 🍞 ☺️ It’s true that I haven’t been out much... but this massive slab of brioche with housemade banana caramel you can see oozing down the side, topped with a proper covering of sliced banana and raspberries - plus edible flowers because it is in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, darling - was fantastic.

Save this post to remind you to visit for a future brunch date and tag your brunching friends! You’re welcome. 😘 It’s just south of Hyde Park so perfect for a day of walking and eating.

I also loved their mushrooms on toast and the homemade pistachio Crême that they stuffed the crossaint with. Swipe to see just how well it’s filled. 🤤 The croissant is currently bought in but they make the filling in their kitchen and it is so good.

There’s a lovely courtyard out the back as well as tables inside. Tag me if you visit! The porridge I am about to eat at home just doesn’t seem so appealing right now. 🤔

* the lovely owner of Guillam treated me and to this feast but I wouldn’t share it here if it wasn’t worth a visit.

Several times a day I have to check what day it is. Anyone else? Nevermind that we’re somehow nearly a full week into SEPTEMBER. 🤯 I haven’t left the house since last Monday except for multiple trips to the post office (yay - thanks for ordering tasting packs!) and it’s making me all 🤪 all over again.

This was a still-warm banana and chocolate cookie from .london. 😍 It replaced their oatmeal and raisin and I’m not sorry at all about that. Now all of their are full of chunks of chocolate! 👌🏻

I’m going to be announcing next month’s Mystery Tasting this week! I am VERY excited about it. 😁

Last days of . 😢 I queued for the last time yesterday, with , and relished my final Cronut for the foreseeable future and this religieuse filled with hazelnut and coconut creams. I wasn’t so fussed on the Cronut the first time I had it but there have been many extraordinary ones since. I am sad I don’t know when I’ll eat another.

It was so hard not to order everything yesterday, knowing it would be the last time. I didn’t even manage to order all the chocolate things! 😱

Monday is the last day, folks, so go and have a DKA for me because I forgot. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I hope we see you and your patisserie in London again, . For now you’ve got an even more delicious thing to focus on (congratulations again!). 💕

I went intending to pay (as I have many times) but we were kindly given these pastries. 🙏 💞

From to ... Another one from my delicious Spitalfields adventure last week. This one isn’t vegan but they do have a vegan option. Underneath buttery crumble and lush custard is perfectly poached rhubarb and strawberries. It’s topped with optional - but I recommend - rose petal and crushed toasted hazelnuts. The fruit options change. Find them inside . They’re part of , too.
