It’s spring at the olive grove in Crete. Lovely spring flowers have popped up from the soil around the olive trees.

After the previous harvest, the trees have been pruned and the new buds are starting to form which will grow into this year’s olives during the year.

Here’s a snapshot of what’s happening from our co-founder Kamil.

This is Agios Nikolaos in Crete on Wednesday 1st April - and I am not pulling your leg, this is no April Fool’s, this photo is for real.

The proximity of Crete to North Africa means that on days like today with extremely high gusts of wind, the wind brings Saharan dust across the Libyan Sea, creating a haze of colour in the sky and beautiful reflections on the ground.

Today we had torrential rain, 50+ mph winds, a little sunshine and this crazy sky.
