Very last day at Food from the Sky this Friday. If you want to say goodbye to this amazing project on the roof of a supermarket then please come up from 9am. We will be holding a little ceremony to acknowledge all the life that came and occupied the space over the last 4 years in the morning and then the final bits of clearing for the rest of the day. We have 200 + plastic recycled growing containers to pass on to another food growing project. Great for growing, wormaries and earth boxes and perfect for gardens on concrete and on roofs! We're hoping for a small donation to our new project in return.

Keats Community Organics is the new urban farm inspired and made possible by Food from the Sky which is being set up by Jack, the FFTS grower, together with Chrissy and Ed the most recent FFTS apprentices.
As part of Capital Growth’s Big Dig, we are having our first open day this Saturday the 22nd from 11.00 and we would love to invite all the amazing FFTS volunteers past and present to come and see the land and take part in the birth of this exciting new community farm.

As you know FOOD from the SKY is closing down end of March. Part of its assets will go to 2 London growing sites the Meadow and Keats CO ( more in its own post very soon!) the rest will be dissolved…
Like for every death there is a natural impulse to want to celebrate the Life that has taken place and now is that time here at FOOD from the SKY. Like we need your STORIES for a finale feature of the last 4 years. In death the Celebration of what was is of great importance…

FRIDAY 14th MARCH (TODAY) - FFTS IS CLOSED - SEE POST BELOW - APOLOGIES
We still have a full skip today (Friday) so won't be working on the ffts roof. Thanks to everyone that was going to come up and help us out today but the work day is CANCELLED. Next clearing day is Tuesday 18th March. Please come and help if you can - our deadline is nearing and the hold up with the skip has lost us time. Thanks again to everyone who has lent a hand over the past few weeks, hopefully see you on Tuesday.
Our skip is full of compost so we won't be working tomorrow (Wednesday) on the ffts roof. Next clearing day is this Friday. Please come and help if you can and thanks to everyone for brilliant effort today!
