THREE COURSES IN MAYFAIR FOR £38?! 🇮🇹🍸

Mayfair dining without the Mayfair price tag? Now you’ve got my attention. 😂

We headed to Il Gattopardo to try their new GENOVA early dinner menu, and what a gorgeous little spot this is!

With locations in both London and Dubai, Il Gattopardo is bringing a proper taste of Italy to Mayfair.

Here’s what we tucked into… 🤌

🐙 To start: Polpo, grilled octopus with roasted tomatoes and Taggiasca olives, alongside Bresaola with beef bresaola, rocket and 24-month Parmigiano Reggiano.

🍽️ For mains: Orata, pan-seared sea bream with caponata and salsa verde, and Scaloppina, chicken breast paillard with crushed potatoes, lemon and butter sauce.

🍨 Dessert: Affo-Gatto with espresso, vanilla ice cream and hazelnut praline, plus Maritozzo, a classic Italian brioche filled with Chantilly cream.

And the price? £38 for THREE courses!

Available Sunday to Wednesday, 5pm–6:45pm.

We were also invited to preview their Negroni Week celebrations, which means THREE different takes on the iconic Italian cocktail. 🍊

The classic Negroni, a sparkling Negroni Sbagliato and their signature Gattopardo Negroni.

Can’t choose? There’s a Negroncini Flight so you can try all three. Now that’s my kind of decision-making. 😂

The Swansea Thai restaurant that’s FULLY BOOKED every weekend 👀🇹🇭

No surprise that this is one of my absolute faves… I’ve raved about NOK NOK enough over the years 😂

But I’m going to make a pretty strong statement here.

I travelled Thailand for 3 weeks and genuinely struggled to find a dish that hit the expectations NOK NOK had set for me back home. 😂😭

Bittersweet when you’ve flown 6,000 miles for the food and one of your favourite Thai meals is waiting for you in Mumbles.

NOK NOK is a family-owned restaurant in the heart of Mumbles and, pretty much since opening, getting your hands on a weekend reservation has been a SPORT.

But behind the fully booked tables is a family who have poured absolutely everything into this little restaurant.

The recipes, the flavours, the atmosphere, the team who remember you when you walk through the door… it’s one of those places that just feels special ♥️

And I think that’s why I’ve shouted about it so much.

Yes, the food is incredible. But I’ve also watched this little family-run restaurant grow into somewhere people will genuinely plan their weekend around getting a table at, and I bloody love seeing it. 🥹❤️

Some restaurants you review and move on from.

Some become part of your own food story.

NOK NOK will always be one of mine. 🇹🇭❤️
