Vega Sicilia Único 2003, a red wine from the region of Ribera del Duero. It’s a blend of 92% Tempranillo and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon.

The wine offers intense black fruit and blue fruit flavours with smoke and floral accents. Displaying the scents of ripe cherry, dark berry and plum with cured Tabacco with and a kind finish trust.

Aged for 7 years before being bottled starting with 15 months in large oak vats followed by 25 months in new barrique before being transferred to used ones for another 17 months and ending its elevage with a further 22 months in those large wood vats again.

Of the 1000 hectares which make up the Vega Sicilia estate, 210 are used for wine growing under 19 soil types divided in 52 plots with very specific characteristics.
225 litre French and American oak barrel both new and used, 20,000 litre tanks.

A long complex process for a legendary wine.

100% Chardonnay , soft clay and carbonated flint subsoil (rare in champagne)

Fermented 6-8 months in barrique with malolactic fermentation. Aged 13 months with no finning or filtering. Then aged on lees for 2-3 years. Zero dosage.

Champagne Pascal Doquet Blanc de Blanc Arpège

The Arpège cuvèe by Pascal Doquet is a striking Blanc de Blanc Champagne full of generosity in a pale gold colour, golden hues and fine bubbles.

Combining the richness of Chardonnay from the clay soil of Vertus to the freshness and minerality of Mont-Aimè, the Arpège champagne displays wide range of aromas and flavour.

Vinified in stainless steel tank then left on Lee’s for 3-4 months.

On the nose, It displays notes of white fruit and candied citrus, underlined by a more floral touch.

On the palate, It shows a perfect balance and evolves a beautiful creamy texture with a certain complexity with a lot of character, freshness and balance at the end. .gm @ London, United Kingdom

From Alvaro’s original vineyard, Finca Dofi is a blend of Garnacha, Cabernet and Syrah. Dofi combines power and richness with great breed and finesse.
The 2001 vintage shows notes of blackberries, lingering spice from the barrique and secondary notes of dried fruit, Tabasco, dark chocolate and smoky.
The original Clos Dofi now called Finca Dofi is a single vineyard with an average vine age of 20 years. One of the 5 great “clos” that catapulted the priorat to fame.
The vineyard is a “u” shape established in 1990 with exposures to the south and north. Organic and Biodynamic wine. 25 days maceration. Fermentation in oak vats with punch down. Malolactic fermentation in barrel. Aged in oak for 16 months

Barolo Bissau 2013 Poderi Aldo Conterno. Producer- Poderi Aldo Conterno Region/Appellation- Barolo Grape- Nebbiolo Food Suggestion- Lamb. Alcohol Content 14-15%. Wine style -Red Savory and Classic. Young but already flawless with impeccably balanced and extremely elegant, this vibrant wine shows alluring scents of pressed rose, red berry, dark cherry and spice with dried blackberry and a whisper of menthol. The firmly structured palate delivers cherry, juicy Cranberry, LIC price and crushed herb framed bright acidity and taut, noble tannin. Fruit is sourced from three separate points within the larger Bussia Cru characterised by clay soil with southeast exposure and approximately 25 year old vines.

The Lelarge Family owned elegant champagne displaying floral notes of peach, ripe pear and citrus notes with a crisp acidity complemented by a dried fruit complexity and a subtle twist of orange peel. A Beautifully balanced champagne, full of finesse with a long, lingering finish.

Harvest - 2011
Blend- 100% Chardonnay
Age of the vines- 30 year old
Winemaking - 6 Months in tank
Bottling - April 2012
Aging - 4 year in the lees in bottle
Disgorgement- November 2016
Dosage - 5g/l

Champagne Lelarge- Pugeot is a boutique, organic winegrower since 1799 based in Vrigny, a Premier Cru Village located in Montagne de Reims just 10 km away from Reims. The estate maintains 8.7 hectares on calcareous, clay loam and sandy soils with 1.5 hectares of Chardonnay.
Today the estate is headed up by seventh generation Dominique Lelarge along with his wife Dominique Pugeot and their children.

The Chardonnay vines are pruned according to the Chablis method. The vineyard is ploughed by horse during the year to prevent soil compaction allowing the top layers of soil access to oxygen and boosting the overall health of the soil, vines and grapes. Grasses and plants are used between the vine rows to impart valuable nutrients to the soil. Harvested by hand.
